The lakes in Snowdonia are an incredibly beautiful part of the area’s landscape and at this time of year, they come into their own. Walking around the lakes all wrapped up with the crisp cold air and if you’re lucky, the sun shining is incredible. Here are our best winter lake walks…

WINTER LAKE WALKS

LLYN MAIR | TAN Y BWLCH

Llyn Mair is a beautiful lake with plenty of space and picnic benches to relax on after a walk around the lake itself. The woodlands, views of the lake, wildlife, and a pretty little waterfall make this a lovely 2 mile walk which will take approx 1.5 hours. LLYN MAIR NATURE TRAIL
