This romantic one bedroom apartment near Porthmadog provides a great base for couples wanting to explore both the majestic mountains and beautiful coastline of North Wales.
Lots of character features of the original storeroom to the adjoining manor house remain and the new accommodation naturally benefits as a result. Features such as the high ceilings and Georgian windows provide a sense of light and space as well as evidence of the previous life of this lovely building. A reclaimed slate kitchen-worktop has been lovingly fashioned to match the slate floor of the original storeroom whilst modern kitchen appliances such as the induction hob and dishwasher sit comfortably alongside the beautiful glazed brickwork of the preceding era.
The adjoining bedroom includes a modern double bed as well as a small seating area to relax in. A modern central heating system and tasteful décor ensure guests are comfortable during their stay. The bathroom is surprisingly large for a one-bedroom apartment and includes a very generous contemporary shower cubicle and white bathroom suite.

The apartment has its own private entrance from the parking area and a small outside seating area. A second entrance opens up onto a wonderful glass roofed atrium. This atrium is shared with two other apartments: the Wood Store and the Larder and is a fantastic space to socialize and make new friends if you want to.
Guests are also encouraged to explore the grounds of the manor house. The well-manicured and expansive lawns to the East of the house are a great spot for picnics and relaxing on sunny afternoons. Some of the formal gardens beyond are overgrown now but the outline of the park, designed by the famous Thomas Mawson in 1901, is still very evident so a great place to wonder around.
Criccieth, 5 minutes to the west, is a lovely seaside town with a selection of excellent restaurants, curiosity shops and world famous ice cream. The larger harbor town of Porthmadog is 5 minutes to the east and has more cafes, restaurants and a larger supermarket. There are naturally lots of things to do in the area including miles of sandy coastline to discover and high peaked mountains to explore.
