Just had a fabulous weekend, catching up with friends in a lovely location. Unexpectedly good weather on Friday allowed us to drive along the coast after a detour via Conway and Caernarvon Castle. Wonderful scenery on the way and arrived at the cottage to find freshly baked bread and cakes. The owners left us some winter discount vouchers for Portmeirion, which we visited on Saturday, and saved a lot of money. Finished off our visit with an invigorating walk in Barmouth. Fabulous views from the top. The cottage had plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, big dining table and comfy lounge. Couldn’t ask for more.

Lovely, big family home. Three generations comfortably accommodated with grandparents sleeping peacefully downstairs with their own bathroom. Lovely views to the sea with only a bubbling stream as background noise. Stunning beaches with huge sand dunes, great for kite flying. Pub, shop and beaches within easy walking distance, what more do you need?

The beaches were lovely. We went paddling in the sea. I like shell island it is famous for shells and Harlech castle. We went on a train which was the Ffestiniog. We went to Towyn we went crabbing we caught 6 crabs. We are sad we are leaving.

Found nothing wanting. Would recommend the cottage to all our friends etc. Going back home feeling very relaxed, couldn’t ask for more.

A very warm welcome was followed by a most enjoyable stay in home–from–home comfort. We have also discovered the beauty of an area not previously known to us.

Gorgeous cottage – we all love it here especially the children who don’t want to leave! Had a great week – managed to get the kids (8 and 5yrs) and my father (getting on a bit but v. fit!) up both Cadair Idris and Snowdon – fantastic! Beautiful beach too – we’ll definitely be back one day.

We had a super week – enjoyed the wonderful setting and had great fun on Harlech and Barmouth beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed Portmeirion, Ffestiniog Railway (Megan’s first train ride!) and the Rabbit Farm near Criccieth (well worth a visit). The house is great, so comfy – thank you!

Great week – no rain, warm days, lovely beach. Visit to Harlech on the train, to Barmouth for shopping and to C.A.T. at Machynlleth all added to a happy holiday. We bathed every day too. Thanks.
