Bryn-Bach is a cute stone holiday cottage full of character with panoramic views in Bala. Two bedrooms, sleeping four, it is the quintessential getaway overlooking the mountains and lake.
As you turn off from the main road and drive down the farm track, it’s easy to see that the location is really special. Set on the side of a hill, it is protected from the elements on the one side whilst having beautiful views on the other, giving a real sense of tranquility and peacefulness.
Coming straight into the dinning room, the homely cottage feel to the room is immediate; a lovely round oak dining table with modern chairs gives you the feel for the rest of the cottage – traditional and original features complemented with modern touches.
Through to the galley kitchen, it has been simply designed but gives you everything you will need to cater for your group – the blue colour used here and throughout the rest of the house looks great and makes all the rooms feel very airy and clean.
The sitting room also comes off from the kitchen. As soon as you enter the room you are greeted with the most incredible view – the patio doors that run the length of the far wall make you feel like you are sitting in the mountains – really! A lovely spacious room with clean modern blue sofas, wooden floorboards, a log burner and TV make this room perfect to chill out in and escape.
There is a twin room on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom with shower – beautifully decorated and lovely woollen throws that add that cosy touch. Upstairs takes you to the master bedroom; an apex ceiling and more lovely soft furnishings make it a really lovely room to stay in. There is another ensuite bathroom up here with both a shower and a bath and as you would expect, like the rest of the house, beautifully finished.
