Farm Holiday Cottage Near Pwllheli | Rhodnant

Ten minutes from the harbour town of Pwllheli, the cottage is in a great location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and Northern Snowdonia. Pwllheli itself is one of the bigger market towns of the area and has a great harbour with lots or restaurants, cafes and, shops. Smaller seaside villages like Abersoch, Criccieth and Nefyn are within a 20-minute drive – lots to do and plenty to see!

As you come into the property, the sitting room is a huge room with enough big, plump leather sofas for all guests to sit back and relax in. At the far end is a set of patio doors which open out onto a wooden balcony with views of the garden – during the summer, this will be a great place to sit in the evening. Neutral colours and lots of light make it a great room to all congregate in and the log burner effect fire gives it that cosy atmosphere.

The kitchen is again a large open plan space with the dining area at the near end. A traditional AGA in here is not only a dream to cook on but naturally heats up the whole room so it’s another great room to spend time in. There is everything you will need to cater for your group and the utility / boot room with a separate outside entrance at the back of the kitchen will be a great help after all those long muddy walks. There is a washer and tumble dryer here too.

Two bedrooms on the ground floors; a double and twin with a shared bathroom. Both have lovely views of the fields beyond. Carpeted throughout and comfy beds, the rooms are light and airy which will certainly help for a good night sleep.

Upstairs brings you to the master bedroom with a single room attached at the back – perfect for young children. With its apex ceiling, wooden floors, and blue tonal colours, this room is very relaxing. It has a fantastic ensuite bathroom which is actually part of the room, separated by a large curtain – really beautifully done and a surprise feature of the house when you get to the top of the stairs – you will have to pull straws for this room, I am sure!
