A modern bungalow near Black Rock Sands beach. Cornel Gest is a three bedroom holiday cottage sleeping up to six guests. Clean and tidy with easy access and enclosed, private garden. It is in a great location for a holiday near the beach.
As you enter through the front door, all the rooms of the cottage come off the central hall way and it is deceptively big when you get inside. To the left is the kitchen which, along with all the essentials you would expect, also has a small table and chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee and croissants!
Next to the kitchen is the sitting room which is a large space with a huge bay window looking out into the garden. Lots of light and a minimal yet comfortable room with plenty of sofa space and a log burner to add warmth.
There are two double rooms and a bunk room. All the rooms have plenty of storage space and again, very clean and tidy in keeping with the rest of the house. The family bathroom is home to a bath over shower arrangement, WC and washbasin.

Tucked away in the corner of a cul de sac in Morfa Bychan, Cornel-Gest has both a private front and back garden giving it a secluded feel from the other houses near by.
The cottage is within walking distance of Black Rock Sands beach. This is a great beach and one of the few that you can still drive onto – it has a great set of rocks for kids to experiment climbing on at one end and is popular for land yachts etc. 5 mins car ride, is the small harbour town of Borth Y Gest where you will find a collection of lovely cafes and bistros dotted along the front. If you walk west along the estuary, the sheltered harbour quickly gives way to some lovely sandy beaches with lots of hidden coves and secret pathways to explore. The wonderful welsh coastal path passes through this point. A path which will lead you all the way to the tip of the Llyn Peninsula if you have the energy.
Porthmadog golf course is also walking distance away. A short drive takes you into the harbour town of Porthmadog where there is a great choice of shops, restaurants and pubs here.
A short car journey west will bring you to Criccieth. Another beautiful seaside village well worth exploring. Pwllheli further to the west again is similar to Porthmadog with a small supermarket as well as smaller shops stocking great local produce.
Lots to do in the area if you can tear yourself away from those sandy beaches. Guests can enjoy anything from survival days at the Bear Grills Centre to lazy afternoons wandering around castles and historic monuments. You might want to traverse a Victorian slate quarry at 100mph on a zipline or perhaps wander along the beach with a Lama (yes a Lama), the choice is yours.
