Set 100 yards up from Dinas Dinlle, one of the most beautiful beaches that the North Wales Coast has to offer is a real selling point for this property and something you can enjoy all year around. There are miles of long sandy beach with facilities available, including toilets, cafes and a few shops. During the summer months, it is a great place to spend the sunny days and likewise during the winter, fabulous for walks taking in the fresh air followed by tea and cake in a nearby cafe.
If you head West, you’ll move further into the Llyn Peninsula where there is lots on offer. The beautiful sandy coves found at Nefyn and Whistling sands, which are about a 15 minute drive further along the north side of the peninsula are certainly worth a visit. The towns of Pwllheli and Criccieth should also be on your ‘places to go’ list as they both offer some great places to eat and drink along with shops to mooch in. The marina at Pwllheli is great for sailing and Criccieth is home to the castle.
In terms of activities, you are spoilt for choice. Glasfryn Parc is where to go for karting, wakeboarding, archery, clay pigeon shooting. Bear Grylls Survival Academy is just down the road as is paintballing and off-road segway.
Head East from the cottage and you’ll find yourself in Bangor and Caernarfon, both much larger towns and home to some other great activities. Bangor is the gateway to Anglesey and so lots of fun things to do on the Menai Straits including the famous rib rides. Caernarfon has the castle of course and is a market town with lots of places to eat and drink.
A drive of 20 minutes further into the mountains will bring you to the foot of Snowdon, the famous Zipworld and the beautiful towns and villages of Snowdonia to explore as well of course as all the walking, climbing and watersports options that are available in the mountains and lakes.
