North Wales Holiday Cottage with Sea Views | Yr-Efail
This charming North Wales holiday cottage with sea views is set in an idyllic village location walking distance from the beach and local pub. Three bedrooms, two super king and one twin, can sleep up to 6 people plus a cot.
To make the most of the fantastic panoramic sea views the house has been arranged with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living rooms on the first floor. The dining room and lounge are combined into one open plan space.
..panoramic sea views..
A modern oak dining table and chairs sits one end of the room complimented by some select ornaments and paintings. At the other end of the room a luxuriously large sofa sits facing onto a pleasing living flame fire. The rug, curtains and soft furnishings are all beautifully chosen.
From here we can access what is perhaps the best thing about this house, the wonderful sun terrace. Split onto two levels with wooden decking this is the perfect place for guests those sea views.
I can well imagine Dad taking charge of the BBQ, some local welsh lamb perhaps or welsh black beef steaks. The rest of the family sit and chat at the patio table drinking chilled white wine and tumblers of squash pilled high with ice.
Back inside we turn right into the kitchen. Modern cream units sit under a black worktop. All the modern features you would expect including a dishwasher, washing machine, large fan oven, induction hob and second combination oven. A glass panel door also offers access back out onto the sun terrace.
As mentioned there are three bedrooms downstairs. Each room is beautifully decorated and each has large modern comfortable beds. The beautifully tiled family bathroom has a bath with shower sized en-suite bathroom.

Dyffryn Ardudwy is a lovely little village half way between Harlech and Barmouth on the Cambrian Coast Road. Two pubs in the village. The first is within easy walking distance the other is a little further but still no need for the car. The post office, grocery shop and butchers are also only a short distance from the house. The larger towns of Harlech and Barmouth are 5 minutes away by car and offer more choice of shops and restaurants etc.
The beach in the village is fantastic. Huge rolling sand dunes stretch up and down this part of the coastline. Wonderfully clean water and gently sloping coastline provides a safe environment for all ages.
The mountains behind the house are a big favourite of many who know this area. Cwm Nantcol and Cwm Bychan must count among the most beautiful mountain valleys in the National Park. As well as mountain walking the more adventurous might enjoy white water rafting on the Tryweryn river, mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin or gorge walking with our friends at Snowdonia Adventure Activities.
