5 Star Self Catering in Abersoch | Beudy-Soch

5 Star Self Catering in Abersoch | Beudy-Soch

Beudy-Soch, 5 Star Self Catering in Abersoch, is a single story barn conversion on a farm just on the outskirts of the ever-popular seaside village of Abersoch. Graded at the highest 5* rating by the welsh tourist board you can be confident that all the facilities you might need are included. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. But more importantly it’s a lovely cottage in a fantastic location.

The big kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen and overlooks fields of sheep including spring lambs when we visited in the spring. The sumptuous lounge next door is also spacious and has been furnished to a high standard with leather sofas and wood flooring. But best of all are the patio doors leading out onto the private patio area outside where you will find the bar-b-que and own private hot tub. The perfect location to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy sea views either in or out of the hot tub!.

..sea views..
..5 star rating..

The bathroom has a powerful shower set over the bath. Two bedrooms. One family room with a double plus a single bed and one twin room. Like the rest of the cottage, the linen is spotlessly clean and crisp. Farm owners Helen and Wyn have obviously put a lot of thought into the conversion and take great care to ensure their guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The sheltered sandy beaches of Abersoch have long been a favorite of many visitors to North Wales. They offer the perfect location for that traditional family seaside holiday with the added luxury of some exclusive shops and restaurants if you’re that way inclined. All the trendy kids however, go round the peninsula a little to the more exposed beaches of Porth Neigwl and Porth Oer. These are perfect for guests who like surfing and kite surfing. In contrast the calmer seas towards Pwllheli are more suitable for sailing, wakeboarding and water skiing. You don’t have to get wet of course. There are a couple of riding stables nearby and some wonderful picturesque golf courses. Other attractions long associated with North Wales include a scattering of medieval castles and narrow gauge steam railways. But don’t forget, you’re in the heart of the countryside at Beudy-Soch so there’s plenty of opportunity to get away from it all as well.

  2. Sue Peters says:

Our second stay at this cottage and it is a great place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and has everything you need. Love the hot tub! It’s position is quite private. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. We will definitely be back!

  3. Louise says:

We had 4 nights at this beautiful cottage with our very large dog Sherman. I would like to thank Helen and family for entrusting her gorgeous holiday cottage to us, we had the best time. We spent the days in Abersoch and on the beach and then back to our temp home for a wonderful hot tub. I will be recommending Dioni again. Thanks and we look forward to visiting again soon.

  4. Rachel Williams says:

Great cottage in a fab location. On arrival we were met by the owner who showed us around and who was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is clean and very well equipped. The hot tub is great and provides a lovely relaxing end to the day. Beach is a 5 minute walk and an easy walk into Abersoch. Can highly recommend for a very pleasant stay.

Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Great location. We loved it! We are looking forward to staying there again.

  6. Craig says:

The accommodation was extremely clean, it was very spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach and town centre. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that we were unable to lock the patio door leading onto the garden area. The owner did advise us that we may have problems with this and advised that they would be on hand to do this for us if necessary. However when we tried to call them on Sunday morning and we were not able to make contact. Therefore we were unable to lock the door when we went out to the beach. I do feel that this is something that should be addressed, even though the area is quiet I did find it disconcerting that we were not able to secure the property and would not find it suitable to call the owners each time we wanted to lock the door. This was the only negative point about our stay. I would certainly look at booking again and we had a very enjoyable stay

  7. The Cross Family says:

We stayed at the cottage in December 2015 with our 3 children and dog. The subtle touches of lanterns and fairy lights for Christmas made the short break extra magical for us and the Children. The atmosphere generated by the hosts was excellent and enable us to relax reassured that they were there when we needed them. The location of the beach was excellent for brisk December walks and access to the local shops (5min drive) enabled for a well stocked fridge. The hot tub on those cold evenings enabled some private relaxation time after a hard day walking on the beach.

    enjoyed the cottage.
    However improvements would be.
put a tv in the kitchen. even if it is taken out of the bedroom.
the wood floors are nice. However a rug in the lounge & a runner in the kitchen would add more appeal & comfort.
We have stayed in 28 dog friendly cottages, most had no issue with dogs & rugs.
I would certainly highly recommend this cottage & its location.
    The owners were brill.

  9. Vanessa Harris says:

Fantastic location with the village being just a 25-30 minute walk away, with plenty of pubs serving food. The fantastic beach was directly over the road, when the tide is out you can actually walk to Abersoch. The cottage is amazing, really comfortable, wi-fi useful, everything you need is provided. The hot tub was a bonus, great for relaxing in and listening to the sheep in the next field. Complete privacy too, and the owners were lovely.

  10. This was our second year here and as with the first, it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful accommodation, spotless and beautifully presented. The hot tub is delightful. We will be back for a third holiday 🙂

  11. The Tandy family says:

We had a lovely stay here in July. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you need. It was beautifully clean and the welcoming tea tray with Welsh cakes was very much appreciated. The hot tub was a great addition to the property – beautifully warm and very relaxing. Helen and Wyn were friendly and extremely helpful, but not at all intrusive. A great place to stay, we thoroughly recommend it.

  12. Helen Philpot says:
