Two Bedroom Holiday Cottage Walking Distance From the Beach | Beudy-Bennar-Isa

A spacious kitchen diner houses all the modern appliances you’d expect including a fridge freezer, dishwasher and electric double oven and even a smart TV. The full gas central heating will keep you warm as you prepare sandwiches for the beach and look out at the magnificent views of the mountains behind the cottage.

At the other end of the barn, a tastefully furnished lounge with solid oak furniture, complete with real log fire helps guests relax at the end of the day. As with many barn conversions, tall vaulted ceilings create an immediate sense of space and light. Large French doors open out onto a private patio. Warm summer evenings can be enjoyed to the full as the sun slowly dips behind the sand dunes into the blue sea beyond.

There are two double bedrooms with standard sized double beds in the cottage. Both are immaculately furnished and well presented. A single bathroom includes a large corner shower, wc and washbasin.

The location of this holiday cottage is the best bit of course. A private track cuts across fields of grazing sheep (be sure to shut the gates) to three very well kept holiday cottages nestled together within the stone walled curtilage of what used to be the original farmhouse.

The beautiful sandy beach nearby has been given the blue flag status again this year, which is testament to its un-spoilt nature and cleanliness. The castle town of Harlech, which is now a UNESCO world heritage site, is a short drive along the coast and offers a growing selection of charming cafes, pretty shops and the famous Castle of course. Barmouth, a little closer to the south, is a traditional Victorian seaside town that is home to a number of lively pubs and restaurants.

There are lots of fun things to do in the area. Small local operators are happy to take adventurous guests gorge walking down the Nantcol River or paddle boarding up the Mawddach estuary. While a number of larger activity providers such as Zip World, Coed Y Brennin Mountain Bike Centre and Surf Snowdonia are getting more and more world wide attention.
