A peaceful and tranquil setting but only a short drive to all the fun and activities that Snowdonia has to offer. ..beautiful views.. ..scandinavian sauna.. ..real log burner.. This traditional farmhouse accommodation is just outside Llanberis the popular tourist destination at the foot of Snowdon. A substantial detached property set within 3 acres of land the cottage is the perfect base to explore this mountainous region of North Wales. The front door leads us into a large kitchen diner complete with a traditional […]

I was a bit worried when we visited Gorwel-Soch in Abersoch for the first time. We don’t usually take on log cabins and I was worried it wouldn’t match up the high standards our regular self catering guests have come to expect. But all my concerns vanished the minute we stepped inside this 5 star log cabin with sea views in Abersoch.

This luxury barn conversion on Snowdon offers spectacular holiday accommodation in a truly unique location. A wonderful example of a traditional stone built barn transformed into a 2 bedroom self catering cottage situated on the western slopes of Snowdon itself. The decor and fixtures on the inside are outdone only by the spectacular landscape on the outside.

A traditional stone barn has been converted into a 4 bedroom holiday cottage with hot tub on a working farm near Pwllheli in North Wales. There are 5 holiday cottages on the farm altogether. All very professionally run and spotlessly clean. Guests have the added luxury of a small on site spa cabin with hot […]

Lloft-Sarn is a cute little holiday cottage on the Llyn Peninsula. Set out on one floor in a studio style layout, makes it a great space for spending some really good quality family time and it’s central location makes the cottage a perfect base from which to explore the Llyn Peninsula.

Moelfre, Self Catering Barn Dyffryn Ardudwy, named after the mountain behind the cottage, is a one bedroom barn conversion on a working welsh hill farm. It’s difficult for me to be objective when describing Moelfre as it’s one of the two self catering cottages that we let out ourselves here at Byrdir. But I hope you’ll agree when I say they’re nicely furnished and decorated. We’re certainly very proud with the way they’ve turned out.

Nant, which means brook or spring in welsh and refers to the small brook that runs past this cottage, is a two bedroom self catering barn conversion in Dyffryn Ardudwy. Its difficult for me to be objective when describing Nant as its the larger of the two self catering cottages that we let out ourselves here on the farm. But I hope you’ll agree when I say they’re nicely furnished and decorated.
