The large and open drive on arrival with uninterrupted views over towards the Snowdonia mountains is so welcoming. The feeling of being in such a beautiful, open and rural setting with the enclosed area of the cottage and its grounds is just perfect. As you come into the cottage, the open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room with its vaulted ceilings, patio doors and windows make it a really bright and spacious room. The kitchen has high gloss, cream units and a bar area with stools making it a very sociable place to cook and prepare food. The sitting room has plenty of sofa space which will comfortably seat 5 and the addition of the select pieces of wooden furniture add to making this an inviting part of the room. Located on the outskirts of Abersoch on a working welsh farm, this 3 bedroom Abersoch holiday cottage is the perfect location for a traditional seaside holiday. This impressive stone building, which sleeps up to 6 people, commands spectacular views over the bay and is the perfect base from which to explore the ever popular Llyn Peninsula. But I should talk about the cottage first. It’s a semi detached cottage on the outskirts of Rhyd Ddu in the heart of Snowdonia. It’s been immaculately decorated and furnished by Jane, the owner and her taste and attention to detail are evident throughout the property. Downstairs the cosy lounge opens out onto the adjoining and spacious dining room. A log fire and tasteful fixtures and fitting ensure that this living space is comfortable and welcoming. A traditional and well-equipped country kitchen is located to the rear of the cottage. Cream fitted units including a dishwasher and fridge are topped by a beach block worktop. Hen-Feudy is a single story barn conversion in the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy half way between Harlech and Barmouth on the Cambrian coast road. In a slightly elevated position on the outskirts of the village the cottage commands breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay and the mountains of North Wales.
